I went along to Pulp Birmingham for their Attack Attack signing session, the idea was that I’d take shots of people getting things signed for their facebook and a few shots of the staff with the band. It was the first time I have really used my wireless triggers I have picked up recently, (though hopefully soon there will be a lot more band promos to use them at) and I was pretty happy with the results. Of course a lot of the shots ended up very similar as I tried to frame the band and the people getting things signed as much as possible but there were still some quite nice shots using the new equipment.

The first promo shoot I have carried out, the Sam Wooster Quartet are a Jazz band influenced by Metal. I shot the images on the canal by the Kerrang offices in Birmingham using an off camera flash. I was fairly happy with the results given it was my first promo shoot
