After buying a Mars Volta Storm Thorgerson print last week (The Master of Album Art), I have been thinking about designs for covers.
Again tonight I have been playing around with photoshop to see what I could create from the images I have already taken in the past. The middle image contains only my pictures and was my original creation, taking inspiration from Storm I wanted to show a kind of gateway to another place. Using my original Image as a template I then experimented using stock images of more Extreme locations the doorway could lead too.
I am fairly happy with the results, Hopefully in the future I could create something similar for an artist.

Was bored tonight so thought would play around with an image, this was the result. Thought would post it up cause I quite liked the result even though I didn’t really employ any amazing techniques. It ended up Reminding me of a bit of an album cover. (The shades are as vivid as in this pic, not sure why when you click the link through it seems pale).
